In this tutorial I will show you how to create Easter Math Worksheets for Homeschool using Microsoft Word. These worksheets are pretty easy to make if you are familiar with Microsoft Word. If you are not familiar with Microsoft Word, that is ok. I will show you how to create these Easter Math Worksheets for homeschool. The first thing that you will need to do, is surf the web and find some free Easter clipart. You will use this clipart on your worksheet to give it that Easter look and feel. Once you have found the clipart that you want to use, you can move on to how to create the worksheets. Please look at the image that I have provided to get an idea of how the worksheets should look.

How to Create Easter Math Worksheets for Homeschool using Microsoft Word

Open your Microsoft Word program and let it load. Next you will type the place for the name and date on the worksheet. Please see the image that I have provided if you do not understand. Press the Enter key twice on your keyboard. Then type the instructions for the worksheet. Press Enter on your keyboard one time to skip a space.

Go to the top of the Word program and click Table > Insert > Table. This will bring up the table dialog box. Since I am showing you how to create worksheets we will use certain options for the fields. Once you are creating them on your own, you can play around with the fields. So, now you have the Table Options window up. Type 6 for the columns field and 5 for the rows field. Then click the OK button. That will insert the table into Word.

Now we will resize the table to make the cells bigger. Grab the bottom right corner of the box and pull it down some. Pull it down enough to make a perfect square. This way you will have enough room to type in, and enough space between problems.

Next, we will add the graphic to the worksheet to give it that Easter look and feel. This may sound a little complicated but please be patient. Drag your mouse across the top right corner cells. Highlight 4 - 6 cells. In my example I highlighted 6 cells. Once you have them highlighted, right click on the highlighted part. A menu will drop down and you will need to click Merge Cells. This will merge all of those cells that you highlighted and turn it into one big box.

Click your mouse inside that box. Then click the Center button at the top of your window to center your cursor. Click Insert > Picture > From File at the top of your window. A dialog box will appear. Locate the picture that you want to use on your computer. Click the image and click the Insert button. That will insert your picture into the worksheet.

Now you will need to type your math problems in each cell. Once you have typed all of your math problems, you can move on to the final step.

This is the last step of the Easter Worksheets. If you want to leave the black border around your math problems then you can skip this step and print your worksheet out. Here is how you make the border invisible. Right click on the table. A menu will drop down. Click Borders and Shading. A dialog box will pop up with options in it. Under the Color field, change the color to white. Then click the OK button. Now you can't see your borders.

That's it!! You are now ready to print this Easter Math Worksheet out. These worksheets take a little time to make. But being a homeschooling mom, I know that I can't always find exactly what I am looking for. So I sometimes have to make my worksheets. These worksheets are a great way to keep homeschool kids interested in school during holidays.
