You can create your own polls with your PostNuke site. In this tutorial, I will show you how to create, edit, and delete polls in PostNuke. Go ahead and log in to your Administrator Panel. Once you have logged in, click the Content tab on the administrator page. In the content section, you will see the Polls icon. Click the Polls icon to go to the Polls section.
How to Create a Poll in PostNuke
First, I will show you how to create a poll in PostNuke. Once you click the Polls icon, you will be carried to the page where you can enter your question and the answers. In the top field, you will need to enter your question. In the fields below that, you will need to enter the answers. You can enter up to twelve answers. After you have filled in these fields, click the Create Poll button at the bottom of the page.
How to Edit Polls in PostNuke
After you click the Create Poll button, your poll will be created and you will be carried back to the page where you can create a new poll. Right above the new poll, you will see the Modify Polls link. Click that link and you will be carried to the page where you can choose to edit your polls. On the next page, you will see the names of the polls you have created. Beside the polls, you will see the edit link. Click the Edit link to open the poll and edit it. After you have finished editing your poll, click the Modify button.
How to Delete Polls in PostNuke
You will need to go back to the same page that you were on when you selected to edit your poll. Right beside the edit link, you will see the Delete link. Click that link to delete the poll. Clicking the Delete link will delete the poll from your PostNuke site.
Allowing Comments in Polls
You can also allow people to comment about your polls. When you click the Polls icon from the administrator page, you will see the three links at the beginning of the page. You will need to click the Configure Polls link. On the next page, you will see the field where it says allow comments. Tick the yes field to allow comments on polls. Then click the Submit button. You can create as many polls as you want.
