How to Create a Flavor Flav Halloween Costume

If you don't know who Flavor Flav is then you don't know extreme personality. Flavor Flav known originally as a famous rapper has over the years become a famous reality T.V. star. He is well known for his sense of humor and his extreme sense of clothing choices. If it's different it's a part of his wardrobe. To mimic his sense of style for a perfect and comical Halloween costume there are ten things you can do.

1. Clock: He always has a clock around his neck as a necklace. Not a small necklace either but a large very noticeable one. Attaching a chain to a clock would make this look functional. Try to find a light weighted clock because a heavy one would hurt after awhile.

2. Gold teeth: If you can't find cheap gold caps or plastic gold teeth, then you can make some. Wonka bars, chocolate candy bars, sold in stores have gold wrappers. Take some pieces of the wrapper and wrap around each tooth. Then moisture from your mouth will help keep it in place. Although, if you eat or drink they will come out so bring extra's with you if your going out somewhere.

3. Viking helmet or Gold Crown: He almost always has a hat on. Usually a Viking hat or a Gold Crown, but even a baseball hat that matches his outfit turned side-ways would work.

4. Hair: If you choose to not wear a hat then a crazy hair style will work well. He teases his hair and has it stand straight upward using a lot of hair gel and hairspray or braided into tiny braids.

5. Fur Coat or Cape: A fur coat is a perfect accessory for Halloween. If you live in a cold climate it will also help with warmth. A Cape made from satin fabric would be also an appropriate look particularly in warmer climates or indoor parties.

6. Clothing: His outfits are so versatile than if it's brightly colored satin then it will work. A dressy colored suit with an over sized jacket and button up shirt underneath work nicely. He has also been known to wear T-shirts and baggy jeans with all other accessories.

7. Jewelry: Not just any jewelry, but gold bling. He has been known to wear big and gaudy rings on several fingers of each hand, large gold chain necklaces, and even a watch on each wrist.

8. Sunglasses: Dark sunglasses with rims that also match your outfit. They can also be too big for your face. If walking around outside at night it may be hard to see, sunglasses would be best for indoor Halloween parties.

9. Shoes: His shoes always match his outfit; they are also usually a fashionable pair of dress shoes.

10. Common sayings: "Do you know what time it is?" "Yeah Boy!!!" "Flavor Flav!" He also smiles a lot so be prepared to have a permanent grin on your face the whole night!

Although, there is the ability to choose your own selection to mimic Favor Flav's style he always has color coordinated clothes.
