How to Create a Low-Carb Lovers Gift Basket

Got a friend or family member who follows a strict low-carb diet? Surviving the holidays can become challenging for them. Help them stay on track by concocting a Low Carb Lovers Gift Basket. It's easier than you might think, and the delight on your recipient's face will make it worth your time!

First, select a pretty woven basket. Decorate it for the season by putting a big red bow on top, and have some red cellophane wrap on hand to finish it off.

Second, create a bouquet of low-carb beverages. For example, you could select a variety of low-carb hot chocolate mixes, as well as assorted teas and flavored coffees. New on the market and incredibly tasty, as well as low-carb: Melitta Cafe Collection Hazelnut Creme Brulee.

Next, it's time to spice it up! Mix your own low-carb cinnamon sugar: buy a pretty glass seasonings bottle with a lid for sprinkling the spice easily. Fill the bottle half with granulated Truvia, which is a low-carb sweetener that comes in a jar as well as packet form. Fill the other half with powdered cinnamon, screw on the lid tightly, and shake until thoroughly blended. Create your own Low-Carb Lovers Cinnamon Sugar label. Add in a bunch of cinnamon sticks, tied with a red ribbon, perfect for stirring that hot cocoa.

Now it's time to hold true to the motto: Good things come in small packages! Put together a tasty assortment of sample-sized low-carb products. Recommendations: a single-size serving of the following: Walden Farms Ranch salad dressing, Walden Farms pancake and chocolate syrups, Crystal Light Sunrise Drink Mix in Classic Orange, and Lipton Energize Iced Tea Mix to Go in Blueberry Pomegranate, all available in single size servings from Minimus.biz.

If you know that your recipient is following a low-carb diet that allows for assorted nuts and low-carb candies (some low-carb diets are more strict than others), tuck in walnuts, almonds and pecans that are still in their shells, as well as an assortment of tiny wrapped low-carb chocolate candies.

Finish it off with red cellophane, and you have a Low-Carb Lovers Gift Basket that will be greeted with great delight!
