How to Make the Christmas Ornaments
Now that you have all that you need, we can begin with the making of the ornaments. You will want to begin with mixing your flour and salt together. Once you have that good and mixed, add your water. Using your hands, mix the dough together until it forms a nice dough. Then use your table or bar to roll out the dough. You can use a roller or something round to roll the dough out. Make it as thick as you want the ornament to be. Remember, you can always make more dough.
Once you have the dough rolled out, you can start cutting out your ornaments. First, you will want to spray your baking sheet with your Non-stick spray. Use the cookie cutters to cut out your ornaments. You can also make hand prints and other shapes for the ornaments. If you want to cut out circles, you can use things like different size jar lids.
As you are cutting your ornaments out, go ahead and be placing them on the baking sheet. After you have all of your ornaments cut out, you will need to use a pencil or something similar to make a hole in the top of the ornaments. This is the hole that will allow you to run your ribbon or string through it and hang it on the tree.
When you are finished, turn your over on 275 and place your ornaments in the oven. Let the ornaments bake for about an hour. When they are finished, you can take them out and let them cool for at least 30 minutes.
After cooling, you can decorate the ornaments. You can use all kinds of things to decorate the ornaments. Allow the kids to use their imaginations and you will have some really cool ornaments. You can use things like markers, paint, stickers, glue, glitter glue and more.
