How to Create Your Own Lil Wayne Halloween Costume

This tutorial was created for anyone who wants to create their own Lil Wayne costume for Halloween. Anyone, for the most part, will be able pull this look off . You should already own some of the materials you will need to create this costume. Anything else you will need to create this costume should be very easy to find. So let's create our Lil Wayne Halloween costume.

Materials Needed

Outfit. You won't need much to be able to pull off the Lil Wayne look as far as clothing is concerned. You can actually play with this a little bit because Lil Wayne is diverse in the way he dresses. Just make sure you don't leave out anything that does not say (optional) next to it. So, you'll basically just need some baggy jeans, a white tank-top or a white T-shirt (that fits you, can't be too big on you), a fitted hat (optional), a hoodie (optional), a belt (preferably white but any color will do) with a solid belt buckle, and some high top sneakers.

Accessories

The accessories is where it gets a little more complicated. First you're going to need some dreadlocks (the hair). If you can find a dread-locked wig, great! Understanding that a dread-locked wig may be expensive, you should be able to find one of those hats that have dreadlocks attached to them, which will also work and should be cheaper. You need a wallet with a wallet chain, a long necklace that at least hangs down to your upper ab area with any kind of charm attached to it, a solid colored towel or a rag (I encourage you not to use any obvious gang colors as a safety precaution), a grill (optional, detachable gold/silver teeth), and a pinkie ring (optional).

Makeup. As we all know Lil Wayne's body is covered with tattoos. For this costume, you are not going to need to draw tattoos all over yourself but you can if you'd like. For this Lil Wayne costume, you are only going to need to draw his tear drops on your face. So borrow some black eyeliner or black lip liner from a sister, friend, or whoever you know that you think will let you borrow theirs.

Putting the Costume On

Step 1 - Applying the Outfit
First, put on the white tank top or T-shirt, whichever you chose. Next, put the jeans on and tuck your tank top or T-shirt in them. You will need to sag your jeans down to about the halfway point on your butt. Now put on the belt and strap it up. Make sure your shirt or tank top is tucked in tight. Step 2 - Applying the Makeup

Fold your towel or rag up longways, and stick one end of it in your back-right pocket so that it can be seen hanging out of your pocket. Next put on your necklace. If you chose to wear a grill, go ahead and put it in. Likewise, if you chose to wear a pinkie ring put that on. Now you can put on your dread-locked wig or your hat with the dreadlocks attached to it. Lastly, if you chose to go with a fitted hat put that on your head, and wear it with the brim pointed to your right hand side. Now take a look in the mirror.
