How to Create Your Own Text Effects in WYSIWYG Web Builder

With the WYSIWYG Web Builder, you can create different text effects for your website. In this tutorial, I will show you how to create these text effects. We will create the following text effects; Blinking Text, Bouncing Text, Flying Text, Jumping Letters, Neon Lights, Rainbow Text, and Highlighted Text.

Locating Your Text Effects

Your text effects are located in your Java Ready panel. I will show you how to create each text effect. You will first need to open your panel. In the left side of your program, you will see the Ready To Use Java Scripts button. Click that button and draw a box on your page. That will open your box with text effects.

Blinking Text

On the left side of the box, look for the Blinking Text link. Click that link and you will see your properties in the right side of the box. Type your text in the bottom field of the box. Then change the properties of the text in the middle box. You can change the font color, style, size, and speed. You will need to click on each category and change the options in the drop down box at the bottom of the box.

Bouncing Text

The next text effect is the bouncing text. Locate the bouncing text in the left panel and click it. In the right panel, you will see your options for changing the text. You can change the text, speed, color, font style, and size. You click the options the same way you did above and make your changes.

Flying Text

The Flying Letters are also located in this box. Select the Flying Letters text effect by clicking it. Then change your options the same way you did above.

Jumping Letters / Neon Lights / Rainbow Text

These three text effects are done the same way as the above text effects. Click the text effect of your choice and change the options. All of the options are the same and changed the same way.

Highlighted Text

The highlighted text is called the Text Highlighter. Select the text effect and change your text options in the right side of the box. With the text highlighter, you can create three different messages.

Once you are ready to insert your text, click the OK button. You can only insert one text effect at a time. To insert another text effect, click the Java button again, draw the box on your page, then select the text effect and change the options.
