So, its spring and you want to plant a garden. But what kind of garden are you interested in planting. With the wide variety of garden choices it may be difficult to pick just one, but this will allow the whole gardening experience one that is easy for you and the plants. It is easier to care for your plants if they are similar. Below I have listed some of the different types of garden choices.

A flower garden is the way to go if you are just looking for something to make your yard look nice. Most flower gardens are usually filled with perennial flowers. These are flowers that stay healthy year round. In simple terms they are very pretty weeds. There are several different types of perennials. Perennials are found in wide range of terrains and climate. If you are looking for local flowers to put in your flower garden, then you should do a quick search on the internet for flowers that are found in your area. With perennials, the only work required is during the planting stage, after that the flowers and nature takes care of themselves.

The vegetable garden is another great choice to choose from. There is a lot more work and research required in planting a vegetable garden. Although there is more work the rewards are much more fruitful. A vegetable garden is something that is manageable all year long. Just make sure to plant certain vegetables during their most prosperous seasons. In doing this your garden provides you with rewards all year long.

When choosing the spot for your vegetable garden, keep in mind the possibility of expanding the garden for more of a variety of vegetables. This way when one vegetables season is over then you have room to plant the new vegetables. The vegetable garden is the perfect garden for someone who is looking to produce beautiful plants with delicious rewards.

One of the hardest and most difficult garden types to manage is the fruit garden. Choosing a fruit garden requires a lot of work to keep up with the high maintenance. Because fruits are sweet and fragrant they attract all sorts of pesky bugs. Now the work required isn't just with soil and fertilizer, but also in choosing the right insecticide to rid you of the insects that try to ruin your garden as well as keep your fruit safe. A fruit garden is not a garden that will last year round. The reason for this is when planting a fruit garden the soil needs to be just right. So if you replace one fruit with another it could mean disastrous problems for future plant growth. If you are willing to spend a lot of time into your work with a fruit garden then this is the right choice for you.

I hope that this small list of garden types can help you to determine the best garden type for you. The basics to remember is the type of product you want as to what type of garden is the right one for you.
