There are many ways to create your own websites on different portals. Here are simple and easy steps to create your own personal website on Yola.com. Yola.com does not require any technical skills and lets you easily create your own templates and designs.

Creating your own personal website on Yola.com:

1- First, sign up for an account on Yola.com. When you create an account, all your personal information is confidential and will not be shared with anyone. Once you have signed in to your account, click on the button," create a new site".

2- A variety of different website lay outs will appear, scroll through the 18 different pages and select your favorite design. Once you have done that, click next to continue on creating your site.

3- Now name your site. A box that says Name your site will be on the page, and in the box type in the name that you want your personal website to be about. This name does not have to be the name in which your URL will be in; this is the name that will appear on the first page. You can choose a different or the same name for your URL, but you will choose that later.

4- Right beneath that, there will be an option of making your website a regular website or a bog. It does not matter which one that you choose because on a website you can still put blog pages. On the blog you can still put website pages.

5- After you have chosen what you want your website on, click on the button that says choose a web address. You can choose to have a web address for free (ex: example.yolasite.com) or you can choose a domain name. However, you will have to pay for domain name. Click on which ever one you will like and then type in the name that you want the URL to be on. When you are done, click return to editing.

6- If you have chosen a blog, a pop up "new post" will appear, this is where you can write your first post. If you have chosen a regular website, then you can start adding different things to the website by dragging different widgets from the right side of the page onto your website. There are more widgets to choose from if you click on the different files above the other widgets. A list of more widgets will come on the screen when you clicked on the file that you want to open.

7- When you want to add another page, click new page. You can decide if you want that page to be a blog, or a regular website page. Now, you can start designing your new page. When you have created all the pages that you want, then click update my site and it will be published.
