How to Create Scrapbook Inchies for Your Pages

Leanne Bloms
Scrapbook inchies have become the latest craze in paper crafts because they can be so easy to create, and can add a lot of pizzazz to your pages. Instead of spending a lot of money at your local craft store, you can create your own embellishments to coordinate with your pages and save yourself a lot of money and time. There are a few tools that you will need to start creating your inchies before you begin, so you will have to make a trip to the craft store if you do not have the supplies on hand.To begin, you will need to be able to cut your scrapbook inchies, so you will either need a basic paper trimmer or even a paper punch to create your basic shape. Inchies can be made in any shape, but they are typically square in shape. An inchie is a one inch piece of art, but you are not limited to the shape. You also will need something to decorate your inchies.

This can be done by paper punches in shapes, die cut objects, rubber stamping, chalk, glitter, or anything else you like to work with. The best part about your scrapbook inchies is that you can use your creativity to create whatever you like best.Another way scrapbook inchies are used is creating a collage with several inchies and positioning them in a row on a card front. Some make beautiful creations that they choose to mount their finished inchies and frame them in works of art. The fastest way to create inchies is to make several of the same kind at once, or make them in bulk. You can even join local swaps or online swaps to get a variety of inchies from all skill levels to get a large collection of inchies. You can use patterned paper on your scrapbook inchies, but it is best to mount it on cardstock because you want to have a sturdy surface to work on. You can also make your inchies with multiple layers to give them dimension. There really is no rhyme or reason as to what you can do.

You can make scrapbook inchies no matter what skill level you have, even if you are a beginner! Inchies are great in a scrapbook layout because they can make your page look beautiful, without all the clutter of too many embellishments. They can be a lot of fun to make, as well as you can save yourself a lot of money on scrapbook embellishments!

I can't understand how you take our art and our money and just disappear. How do you look at your self in the mirror? how do you live with yourself? Is this what you are teaching your children...to steal from others to benefit yourself? When will you return our art and money? This has gone on too long!

I also would like for you to return my twinchies that you accepted however did not swap out. I am not sure what your plan is for the 100,000 that you have now accumulated from all of us, but those of us who did the work would like our art back.
