ITEMS NEEDED:
First you will need a large pedestal bowl. The bowl should be white if possible, ceramic or crackle ceramic would look great for this piece. Next, you will need a smaller bowl to set inside of the large bowl. You will need enough eggs to fill your smaller bowl. You will also need a coloring kit to color your eggs a bright spring color, like pink, blue, or yellow. You will need enough white carnations to fill in the large pedestal bowl around the small bowl.
CREATE THIS SPRING CARNATION CENTERPIECE:
To start creating this spring carnation centerpiece, first place your smaller bowl right in the center of the large bowl. Next, fill the large pedestal bowl with water. You can now paint your eggs to look bright and spring like. To do this it will be easiest to simple hard boil the eggs and then dip them into your color.
Make them all one color, either pink or blue or any other spring color you choose, green would especially be pretty. Once your eggs are colored, set them into the center bowl standing up as much as possible and completely filling the center bowl with the eggs.
Then you can fill in around the center bowl with the carnations in the pedestal bowl. Simply place the carnation down into the water, make sure that the stems are cut to the right length. The carnations should be as tall as the center bowl, but not any taller and should all be uniform in height and look even across the top of the centerpiece when it is finished.
