How to Create a Successful Home Party for Your Business
Presentation Ideas and Selling Tips for Your Home Party Business
Presentation Ideas for Your Home Parties
As long as your party host has an easily accessible, preferably big screen television, you can incorporate the following ideas to help you enhance your presentation and liven up the crowd.
Go Digital with the Hostess Brochure
While selling products is always a plus, acquiring new hosts can sometimes prove to be even more lucrative. After all, the more hosts you nab, the more opportunities you have to sell to a wider audience. In addition to passing out copies of the nifty brochures which detail all of the perks of being a hostess, make a digital copy and upload it to your hostess' television, to be displayed throughout your presentation, where potential customers can be continuously reminded of the benefits of hosting.
Scan and save your brochure and then set it as your desktop background. Be sure to save it as an image file such as .jpg or .gif, versus a .pdf, which is often the default option for scanners. Anytime you aren't using your laptop to present products, your screen will return do the desktop background, which will be displaying your brochure. Be sure to hide your desktop icons.
Use Power Point to Detail Product Information
When you're trying to get through dozens of products in a set time, you may find that you overlook certain product specifications. By uploading product information into a power point presentation to be displayed in the background on your host's television during your presentation, you have another way to reinforce the major selling points of each product.
Create a Digital Montage of Satisfied Customers
Another idea for incorporating the use of your host's television to create a more exciting party and increase your selling potential is by creating a montage of satisfied customers with their products or customer testimonials. To avoid the cheese factor or to loosen up the crowd, consider using funny testimonials or pictures.
When it comes to home parties, the key to selling is to show your customers a good time. Think outside of the box and have fun with your presentation.

I used to bring technology in the form of the Staples "easy button" to all my presentations. That way when I screwed up, I'd just hit that. One time I even got a laugh. Two-three hundred disgruntled postmasters can be a tough crowd.
Nicely presented. cheers :)
