How to Create Your Very Own "Step Brothers" Halloween Costume!

So you and a buddy want to be Brennan and Dale from the hit flick "Step Brothers" for Halloween this year? Of course you do! Who doesn't? Unfortunately, this costume is so popular this year that the stores are running out of them pretty quickly. You could drive around town for hours, trying to find the one store that might be carrying a few left over in the back room, or you can create your own with this quick, easy how-to tutorial.

What you will need:

· One 6'3" forty-two-year-old blond man with beady eyes and a slight belly pooch.*

· One 6'1" forty-two-year-old man with a receding hairline and the ability to look as though he hasn't showered in five days.*

· One deluxe drum set

· Matching argyle sweater vests

· Two tuxedos (complete with bow-ties)

· One bicycle

*If there is no immediate access to either of these items, there are two options:

1.) You can order them through the catalog

2.) Or you can rough it, by attempting to re-create both Brennan and Dale with stage make-up.

For option number two, this will require a few extra steps. Not only will you have to apply the make-up, but if both Halloween-goers do not have similar hair-dos as the Step Brothers, then shaving your head and starting from scratch is the only realistic option.

Hair

To Look Like Brennan:

After shaving your head shiny bald (you should be able to see a glare when the moonlight hits it) find an un-shorn sheep. (A lamb will do if no full grown sheep are available.) You only need enough sheep's wool to cover the top of your head. Get a pair of sheers and carefully shave the sheep. Over-shearing the sheep is unnecessary and kind of mean because winter is a-comin'. Place the sheep's wool on top of your head, strategically arranging to look like head hair. The tight curls of the sheep's natural wool and the light color (I hope you got a white sheep because if you got a darker colored one, then you'll have to start all over again) will create the look of Brennan's luscious blond curls.

To Look Like Dale:

After shaving your head shiny bald (again, you should be able to see a glare), find one hairy Italian man. If he has a full head of hair, you're in luck! Just shave it off and strategically place the hairs on your own head. If his hair is thinning, that's ok. This is why I specifically instructed to find a man of Italian descent. Their bodies are full of hair! You should be able to shave off enough body hair to create Dale's brown curls. Remember, he has a receding hairline so keep a few patches of shiny bald on either side of the hairline.

After completing the hair, run like hell. People don't like it when you accost them and shave off their hair. And sheep farmers aren't too pleased when you steal from them. You will most likely be arrested the next day if these procedures aren't done properly.

Make-Up

Fortunately, Dale and Brennan didn't wear too much make-up. You will not need any lipstick, false eyelashes or blush. A quick sweep of foundation and maybe a little concealer should do the trick.

You are now ready to show off your Dale and Brennan Halloween costumes! Whether you are going trick-or-treating in the neighborhood or showing off at a Frat party, you're sure to be the center of attention. Be sure to randomly act out scenes from various parts of the movie (this is what your props are for.) Clothing changes should be done throughout the night to give the neighbor kids or Frat brothers a Halloween they will never forget!
