How to Create Weekly Business Action Plans

Robb Weigel
Weekly Business Action Plans are essential if you're going to get the most out of your time in your small business. All entrepreneurs suffer from time poverty. The best time to make your Weekly Action Plans are either Sunday night before the next week or Monday Morning for that week.

Think of the 5 ITEMS that week that you need to concentrate on to make the most impact on your business that week. Make a DATE OF COMPLETION for each of the 5 items on your action plan and stick to that date firmly. Do not be flexible with your commitments at all. Customers like to deal with entrepreneurs they can rely on--instill the attribute of relying on yourself from the onset.

List those PEOPLE within the organization that you need to work with in order to get each item on the action plan completed. If you are going to take your mom-and-pop shop to the next level, you have to be able to manage people as well.

In conclusion, your weekly business action plans should have the following: 1) 5 items which you need to concentrate on that week which will effect your business the most, 2) dates of completion for each action that need to be stuck to firmly, and 3) people listed with each item that need to be worked with in order to get the objective completed. Action plans are a good, systematic way of making the most of your time.
