How to Create a New York Costume

LM
If you know who Flavor Flav is then you know New York or real name, Tiffany Pollard. She was on the reality T.V show of Flavor of Love: Seasons 1 and 2. She is now starring in New York goes to Hollywood on VH1. The Halloween costume pair of Flavor Flav and New York is ideal for any couple who wants to dress and impress to an extreme. If you want to create New York's costume, there are eight ways to do so.

1. Hair: Her hair is worn several different ways, but usually really curly or straight. Buying a long black or brown wig can create this effect.

2. Make-up: She wears lots of make-up. Silver eye shadow, black eye liner and lip liner are good places to start. Don't forget the long glue- on eyelashes! If you don't already own make-up visit your local dollar store.

3. Clothing: New York always wears revealing clothing. Low cut tops and mini skirts, or satin gowns that show off the bust and the booty.

4. Jewelry: She wears long necklaces. Silver one's preferably, that lay between the breasts. She wears rings and bracelets as well. Glamour is the look she tries for.

5. Nails: Long fingernails, usually painted. You can buy cheap glue on nails at any department store, normal cost is around $5. If you buy plain nails you can paint them red to stand out and show her style.

6. Shoes: She always wears heels, the higher the better. Cheap high heeled shoes can usually be found at second hand or thrift stores. Make sure they match the outfit you choose.

7. Breasts and booty: To emphasize the breasts you can blow up some small balloons and stuff them into an oversized bra. The booty can be made my taking a pair of panties and stuffing them with cotton. Sew another pair of panties to the first pair, keeping the stuffing between the two pairs of panties.

8. Act the part: Practice laughing loud and making rude comments. She is well known for her fake but comical personality; she tends to look trashy but acts superior.
