It is the time of year again for those delightful crock pot or slow cooker meals. The whole house will have that special aroma that is better than potpourri. This recipe is easily assembled the night before and plugged in just before you leave for work or whatever else takes your time today. It is once again time to roll up our sleeves, take off our rings, wash our hands, and get cooking.

If your in a hurry plug in crock pot and set on high for 4-6 hours.

Note

This is best when served with whipped potatoes (use instant on a work night), a crisp green salad, and a crusty bread to sop up the gravy. The leftovers (If you have any) will make a great hot fork and knife sandwich for tomorrow's lunch. Don't forget something sweet to end this feast. Perhaps your gang would enjoy a Sour Cream Peach pie. See my recipe @ http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1087723/how_to_make_a_sour_cream_peach_pie.html?cat=5
