How Cruel is Shannon Price: Gary Coleman's Death Photos on the Cover of "Globe"

Ms. Marie
Shannon Price is not a grieving ex-wife she is a self-centered opportunist. After Gary Coleman fell and suffered an injury to his head that put him in a hospital bed his heartless ex-wife does not grieve she plots. What kind of person would be thinking about setting up a photo shoot of someone hooked up to life support?

This is pure evil, the photos which the Globe allegedly paid $10,000 for coupled with the 911 call prove that Shannon Price is a heartless human being, she probably never loved or cared about Gary Coleman. "It was murder!" the cover of Globe states boldly, and the photo on the cover of Globe magazine makes one sick, Price is actually leaning in and facing the camera.

According to reports she [Price] allegedly had the plug pulled, ending Coleman's life quickly, and then had photos taken of Gary Coleman after the child star died. There is no doubt that Price let Gary lie in a pool of blood suffering and refused to assist a person in dire need; just listen to the 911 call. Then days after Price pulls the plug she does a photo shoot and interview claiming that she didn't push Gary and that she is broke and doesn't know how she will survive. Facing the camera Shannon Price talked about money, Gary's money, and had the audacity to ask the public for financial compassion while using Coleman's funeral cost to prey on the public's sympothy. All the while she knew she had taken the photos and would sell them. No, Shannon Price is not crazy she is a cold-hearted manipulative person.

Utah police need to do a thourough investigation, Gary Coleman's fall is very suspicious. In my opinion, the 911 call and the police report are inconsistent; on the call you clearly hear Price tell the dispatcher that she will not help Coleman, however the police report states, "Upon my arrival, I found the patient being assisted..." By who?

Next, it states, "The complaintant Ms. Shannon Price was at the door and directed me to where the patient Mr. Gary Coleman was located. Ms. Price then went upstairs and spoke over the hand rail..."

The officer then reports, "...I looked around the kitchen area for any areas of possible impact besides the tile floor. I could not locate any other blood in the kitchen area or other objects where Mr. Coleman may have otherwise fallen and hit his head. There was nothing of suspicion to note in the kitchen area of the home."

Officer Stika, after looking over the kitchen, went upstairs and spoke with Price who was lying in bed. After speaking with the only person present when Coleman fell, who happens to be on police record for prior domestic violence acts, officers cleared the residence and determined no further action was necessary at the time.

The photos, the 911 call and the police report are all disturbing, but there is some good news. For all who believe that Coleman's fall deserves to be investigated to the fullest extent listen to what is reported, according to Globe magazine, "Gary Coleman was the victim of foul play, a top investigator says after examing blood splatter evidence..." Gary Coleman's death must be investigated further, it is unresonable to simply take the word of an ex-wife when there are no other witnesses and the couple has a history of domestic violence, and looking around the kitchen is not enough to reveal exactly how Gary fell and what caused the gash in his skull. Shannon Price's word is not enough.

If Price was the one on the floor bleeding from a gash in her head and Gary Coleman had been the only person in the home at the time one can speculate that an immediate investigation would more likely than not have taken place. Let's say Gary Coleman, a black man, made that 911 call and Shannon Price a white woman was the one injured do you believe the police would have simply taken his word. That is not a racist statement. The point here is that in most cases where there is a history of domestic violence men are usually suspect, and as harsh as reality is one might agree that had Coleman, a black man with a history of violence, been found alone in a home with Shannon Price, a white woman, severly injured things may have been considered suspicious.

Hopefully, Gary Coleman's fall and death will not be dismissed as an unfortunate accident based on the word of a woman who has proven herself to be cold, calculated and money hungry.
