Ways to beat low to mild acne:
Start with a healthier diet
By eating more fruits and vegetables, you will have less bacteria in your skin that can cause outbreaks. Also drinking more water is a good way to get rid of unwanted waste in your body.
Don't over wash your face
Washing your face too often can actually make acne worse. I recommend that you wash your face once when you wake up and then once more before you go to bed at night.
Don't pick at your acne
I know it can be tempting, but this is one of the worst things you can do. It will just cause you to have more acne.
Only use one skin-care product at a time
If your using products such as ProActiv or Neutrogena Acne wash do not use them at the same time or with other acne medications. This can cause complications and aggravate your acne.
Exercise more often
By exercising more, you get your blood pumping and this is good to have nutrients spread all throughout your body.
Medicines I used to beat mild to sever acne:
These products helped me become acne-free, before using any of these medications you should consult a dermatologist to find out what medicines are best for your skin.
Solodyn
This is an antibiotic pill designed to treat acne. I took one pill a day after I ate breakfast.
Benzoyl Peroxide
A face wash that I applied once a day. I applied it all over my face and shoulders every morning in the shower.
Epiduo
A cream I applied all over my face and neck. Just use a pea size amount before I go to bed and rub it in all around my face. I originally used AcZone instead of Epiduo but my dermatologist switched because although AcZone did work, I sort of reached a plateau while using it and it didn't continue to improve my acne after it reached a certain point.
Duac
A spot-treating gel that I used once every night after applying Epiduo. I applied to the worst pimples on my face.
After using all of these medications, I was able to have an acne-free face within 6 months. Hopefully by using my tips you too can enjoy healthier, cleaner skin.
