If you're like most women, you've spent countless hours trying on jeans, never getting quite the right fit, sacrificing one feature to get another, spending too much money, only to then have to pay more to get them hemmed or altered after you've bought them. We are all in search of that elusive "perfect" pair of jeans that fits your body in all the right places.

Did you know that you can get jeans and pants that are cut and sewn just for you, tailored to your body measurements for less than you probably have paid in the past?

Here are some amazing sources to get custom-made jeans and pants, for no additional fee. (Note: since jeans are "custom," returns are generally not allowed , shipping is sometimes extra and delivery can take 3-6 weeks).

makeyourownjeans.com/

This company is located in India and they ship to the U.S. While I can't personally vouch for them, according to the company, they have been included in some fashion media stories here in the U.S. and in the U.K. and there are more than 400 customer testimonials on their site. You enter your measurements and select from a variety of jean's or pant's material choices such as weight, washes and fabric color. You don't get an extreme level of detail choices (i.e. thread color choice, etc.), but the company does have a variety of jean and pant color choices (black, white, etc.). They make everything from custom jeans to men's and women's shirts, pants, shorts, men's suits and coats.

They will recommend the designers who make jeans that fit your body and then supply the retailers to purchase them from. They will ask you a series of questions such as how your jeans typically fit in your waist, seat and thigh, and what your style preferences are. Zafu features jean's retailers from Old Navy, Gap and Levis to Citizens of Humanity and True Religion and claim more than 2 million "happy" customers. They also offer recommendations for plus-size jeans, as well as pants and bras.
