How Dangerous is Self-Harm?

Christina Sponias
The depressed new generation of our time lives bleeding and considering blood and pain as if they were something that could help them in some way, eliminating their tension, alleviating their anxiety or similar.

However, this is a dangerous illusion, and if they feel relieved by doing a violent action against their own body, this fact denounces the distortion of their sensibilities.

If you harm your own body you have to be serious and face the truth with maturity and responsibility, because you are responsible for your own life and for your own decisions.

The truth is that you harm your body because you are not satisfied with yourself and with your life, so don't try to give to what is the result of your despair, the characteristics of something which could have a positive meaning.

If you abuse your own body, you are not able to stop, because this is not an action that depends on your will. You are dominated by the absurdity of the wild side of your conscience.

The more you hurt yourself, more you'll lose the control of your behavior, becoming a slave of the anti-conscience, your wild side, which pretends that it is part of your human side in order to mislead you.

The anti-conscience is sneaky and it talks to your brain with your own voice, pretending to be part of your human conscience, but you cannot imagine that the words you are hearing inside you don't come from your own conscience, but from the primitive side of your brain.

If you accept doing absurd things against yourself, you let the anti-conscience destroy your human conscience, which means that you are not able to discern what is good and what is bad. Nothing has any meaning for you, you are not loyal to your moral principles, and you don't even remember them.

You are in a very, very dangerous situation! With the destruction of your conscience come graver mental illnesses that cannot be cured, and if you let the anti-conscience gradually destroy your human side, at a certain point it will steal completely your rationalism, like a hurricane.

Before arriving at such point or committing suicide, open your eyes and see what you are doing to yourself.

Think rationally, like an intelligent human being, and tell me if you believe that self-harm is something reasonable.

Now, try to feel what is happening to you. Feel what it means to hurt your own body and live bleeding.

Don't you want to cry because you live bleeding?

Bleeding as if you were in a war and you have been attacked by violent enemies, or as if you were sick, dying...

You carry with you the marks of your pain. You watch and feel them everyday. Therefore, they are constantly reminding you of your despair, and constantly imprisoning you in a depressed condition.

Try to understand what is happening to you, and urgently change your attitude.

Accept the necessity for therapy and guidance; don't ignore my warnings, and the warnings of many other people that are shocked with your behavior and your appearance.
