How to Deal with LOST Withdrawals Until LOST Season 6 Premieres in 2010

For Those Who Simply Can't Get Enough of LOST

The 2010 LOST season 6 premiere is ages away. Can you feel it in your bones? Do you find yourself waking up at night to a cold sweat? Do you see images of Evangeline Lily or Matthew Fox running through your head every time you close your eyes?

If so, you are likely feeling the effects of LOST withdrawals. Specialists Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof are currently working on a cure, appropriately titled: LOST season 6 premiere. Unfortunately, it appears as though this cure will not be available until early 2010.

How to deal with LOST withdrawals until the LOST season 6 premiere
With the LOST season 6 so far away, many will have to deal with extremely adverse conditions for some time. There are still a few things that you can do to survive until the premiere of season 6.

Choose a character to emulate until the season 6 premiere - Those who are really feeling the effects of missing this television program always have the option of assuming the persona of a favorite character in his or her absence.

Attractive girls can don the guise of the conflicted Kate, the elusive Claire, or even the deceased Shannon to make it through the days. Larger men? Try the lovable Hurley on for size. Feeling snarky? Assume the smart alek persona of Sawyer. The possibilities are endless. You will find that the LOST season 6 premiere comes much quicker when you are living the experience.

Join fans in the hiatus rewatch of seasons 1-5 of LOST - If you start now, it might not be so hard. With 5 seasons of LOST already behind you, there is plenty of material to keep you occupied until the premiere of LOST season 6.

Even better, try to get someone else hooked on the show, and then try to catch them up on all 5 seasons before the season 6 premiere. A warning, however: you may find it difficult to contain your giddiness as you see that everything that has happened in LOST was planned from the beginning. Try to contain your excitement, as those you introduce will sadly be clueless concerning the depth of your obsession.

Come up with a theory and develop a cult - Most of the other LOSTies out there have already developed their theory and begun to organize a cult around it. With the LOST season 6 premiere so far away, there is plenty of time for you to develop your following.

Today's blogging technology and the Internet create thousands of options for growing your cult. The sky is the limit here. This option does not come without a few dangers, however. A few things to watch out for include other cult leaders, the authorities, and Kool-Aid drink mixes.

Follow these tips, and you may just make it through your LOST withdrawals to obtain your cure. 2010 is just around the corner, and with it comes the LOST season 6 premiere. Can YOU make it?

Excellent! I'm not a larger man, but I'm totally going with Hurley...wait...maybe Ben! Yes, Ben is sadistic, so he could be fun. And oh--those horrid people teased me today! I had to watch Cuse and Lindelof on Top Chef Masters- I hate them! I hate them....ugh..I love them...
