Men are not the only ones who cheat. Learning how to deal with the other man is much like how women learn how to deal with the other woman. Making sure that her cute new coworker or gym buddy is not man enough to take your woman takes time and effort on your part. Just like with the guys, sometimes a gal might not even realize that she is treading on dangerous territory until it is too late. Open her eyes to what she would be losing if it goes to far.

Talk to Her Without Accusing
One of the main complaints that many women have in a relationship is lack of communication. When you need to deal with the other man, it is important to make her feel like she can trust you with her feelings and thoughts. A tactic guys use to steal a taken girl is to offer a shoulder to cry on. If she is having long and meaningful conversations with the guy, you are in danger of losing her to someone that she connects with more than you. If you are feeling jealous and insecure, share it with her without accusing her of wrongdoing. Simply state your worries about the situation.

Spend More Time Together
Make the effort to spend quality time doing the things that she likes to do. When you have to deal with the other man it is imperative to make her feel special. Many cheating situations happen, with both men and women, because of having more in common and enjoying the same activities in life. So bite the bullet and go antique shopping or sign up the two of you for ballroom dancing lessons. You never know, you may actually find some new hobbies. At the very least, she'll owe you a day out mudding or date to a ballgame and she'll be glad to share your passions with you as well.

Get to Know the Guy
The old adage to keep friends close and enemies closer is true in any situation where you are making sure that he is not man enough to take your woman. Get to know the guy to figure out how he ticks. Invite him over for game day or dinner. Not all men are out to steal other guy's women. Him seeing you as an actual couple, instead of just the guy she talks about can make him feel guilty enough to back off. After putting a human face to the stories, he might think twice before making a move. At the very least, you will be able to gage his true intentions better. It might just be a harmless friendship.

Take Extra Time With Your Appearance
Gals like their guys to look good just like men like their women to take the time to look sexy. Put some extra time into your appearance when figuring out how to deal with the other man. Shave or trim the way she likes or let your five o'clock shadow come out if she likes the rugged look. Splash on her favorite cologne or aftershave and put on a clean shirt for dinner. Ask her about the kind of clothes she finds the sexiest and wear them, whether it be a tight pair of jeans and t-shirt or a well tailored suit. Think about it, you love when she puts on certain lingerie for you or wears your big shirt to bed with the first two buttons undone, why not give her a little eye-candy as well?

Deal with the other man as you would in any other situation that threatens the happiness of your relationship. Take the steps necessary to make things better between the two of you. Make sure that he is not man enough to take your woman by showing her exactly how good of man she already has.
