Do you love deep rich bold tones such as brown and deep mahogany? In the past, pastels and light colors have been the whimsy of designers. Pinks, greens, light blues and yellows dominated the scene in home decor. However, if you are like some, pastels are just not your thing. So, for those who want the boldness of life to reflect in their decor, decorate your bathroom in rich, deep and bold browns. You will be amazed at the gorgeous way these colors look. You will want to take everyone visiting on a tour of your new haven.

Brown Accessories

Stores such as JC Penney, Kirklands and even Kmart have finally realized that there are some of us who simply do not want pinks, yellows, pale greens or any of the other pale-tels. We are ere not few in number. Some of us love dark, rich, deep colors surrounding us. We relish in deep, dark browns, deep navy blues and regal mahoganies. If you want to add a few deep rich colors to your decor, add a few accessories in the deep rich earth tones. Purchase a few brown towels, brown soap and lotion dispensers and a waste paper basket. for examples of unique bold tones in accessories, take a look at the ones displayed here: Brown Bathroom Accessoriest even enjoy adding a touch of class to your decor by placing these Brown Bathroom Accessories around. These are numerous unique, beautiful varieties of bath accessories available. Shop at your favorite home decor store or even department stores for other deep tones.

Clean Taupe Walls

Because some feel brown is way too dark for a bathroom, lighten it up by painting the walls in taupe, cream or ivory. A well lit bathroom with brown walls is no problem. However, when the walls can be painted, change the accessories to reflect your desired color and keep your walls light. For an example of beautifully decorated bathrooms in brown click here. Decorating in brown is no longer considered dull, boring or thought of as being the choice for those with no creative style. Decorating in brown can be seen as chic, sophisticated and aggressive. It takes the right combination of tones to make the color work. A designer would charge thousands to offer ideas on how to work the colors to make an exceptional look. However, scanning through pictures available on the Internet cost only a little time. With a picture in hand, head to your closest home decor store and enjoy selecting from some of the many accessories available.

Today, anything and everything goes. No longer is it considered faux pas to decorate in unusual colors such as pinks, grapes, browns or even black. If you like the color, there is always someone who has designed or created a complimentary set of accessories, paints and even furniture in the tone.

Have fun when decorating. Don't consider decorating a chore. Play with different tones and color combinations to get just the right color and style that says 'you' when you or guest enter your home.

I enjoy dark rooms with mahogany paneling, etc. What I don't like is a red dining room! Reminds me of a house of ill repute. No, I've never been in one... Before anyone says it!
