The Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer is hugely popular and with the release of the latest movie, Eclipse, the popularity is still soaring high with tweens and teens everywhere. If you're a fan of the books and/or movies then you might want to consider decorating your room with a Twilight theme. It will help fuel your obsession and you'll be reminded of the Twilight Saga daily.

This article will give you several tips on what you can do to decorate your room Twilight style.

How to Decorate a Bedroom with a Twilight Theme for a Teen #1: Paint

Believe it or not, there is actually a line of paint that is Twilight themed. There is a Twilight Gold, Twilight Magenta and Twilight Dreams. Benjamin Moore is the brand you want to look for when you go to the paint store but you can also visit this link for a list of places that you can get the paint or a sample online.

Of course you don't have to buy official Twilight Saga inspired paint. You could just pick colors that pop out to you from the movie or from the book covers. Visit your local hardware store to get an idea of paint colors. Some to consider are red, black, purple or a dark blue.

How to Decorate a Bedroom with a Twilight Theme for a Teen #2: Bedding

Bedding is a big part of decorating a bedroom because the bed is usually where your tween or teen will spend the most time either sleeping or gabbing with friends. You can buy bedding like Bella has in the Twilight Saga from Target.com (through Amazon.com). The comforter set is exactly like Bella's and will be exciting to the young person in your life. Sizes available are twin, full, queen and king. In the set you'll receive a comforter, bed skirt and pillow shams. Prices start at $79.99.

If you want to add to your comforter set or skip it altogether, buy some pillowcases. Toys R Us has two pillow cases that you can add to your tween's room. One is of Edward and Bella clutching each other and the next one has the words "Team Jacob" in the center with two neat Native American style drawings of a wolf. They both sell for $9.99 each.

How to Decorate a Bedroom with a Twilight Theme for a Teen #3: Floor

You don't have to decorate the floor but it could help the room stand out. Since there are no official twilight rugs you could buy a red rug or a white rug that has a pattern on it, like the one here. Black is also a good choice for a Twilight room. If you're feeling crafty, buy a white rug and some puffy fabric paint to make fang marks and blood drips on the white rug.

How to Decorate a Bedroom with a Twilight Theme for a Teen #4: Walls

Walls are really easy to decorate. If you're not sure what to do buy several Twilight Saga posters and hang them up all over the bedroom. Barnes and Noble sells one from the first Twilight film that features Edward, Bella and the three bad vampires for only $6.74. You can also buy posters here, here and here.

You could also frame 8X10 or 5X7 Twilight Saga pictures that you've bought or printed out from your computer. Arrange them in rows or hang them sporadically around the room.

Since the Cullen's live and hunt in the forest, buy artwork of the forest. It's easy to image that it's where the Cullen's are and would look wonderful in the room. You can buy a forest print here for $89.95. You can find some cheaper by looking elsewhere online or even by going to secondhand stores and searching for forest prints. If all else fails, go to your local forest/woody area and take a picture and frame it.

Since apples are associated with the movie (a picture of an apple is on the first book cover), buy an apple light plate cover from Amazon.com for $13.95. It will be a nice addition to the Twilight theme.

How to Decorate a Bedroom with a Twilight Theme for a Teen #5: Decorations

Decorations are a lot of fun in a room and they can be set up anywhere. Johnny Stone.com sells a super cool standout of Edward, Jacob and Bella. It is life size. How neat would it be for your tween to wake up ever day and see that in their room? It sells for $22.70. Buy Costumes.com sells a standout that is only of Jacob for $39.99.

In New Moon, Jacob gave Bella a dreamcatcher that she hung on her bed to weed out bad dreams. Your child can also have one hanging in their room. Amazon sells the replica dreamcatcher for $29.99. It looks exactly like the one in the movie.

Another decoration idea is the bracelet Bella wears in Eclipse that has a wolf charm from Jacob and a heart charm from Edward. The bracelet could be set in a jewelry case in the room where it can be seen or on top of a desk or even wrapped around a small vase that has faux flowers in it. You can purchase it from Birthday Direct for $26.99. You can also display Bella's engagement ring in the same manor. It is available at Amazon.com for $26.47.

Illuminated Garden sells a cute strand of apple lights that you could hang from the ceiling of the bedroom. They sell for $17.95.

If your tween is a fan of Jacob, surprise her with a wolf stuffed animal. Animal World sells a large jumbo size stuffed animal of a wolf lying down. You could set it in the corner of a room or lay it at the end of a bed. It sells for $49.99. If you prefer something a little more affordable, you can buy smaller wolf stuffed animals by doing a search on Google.

The above suggestions are just that. Suggestions. There are so many ways that you can do a Twilight inspired bedroom. Just let your imagination run wild.
