Some people want a lot of light because it's hard to read without a good light. If you have a lot of large open windows you will have enough light in the room and you might want to think about painting the room a darker rich color. If the library is really small you will want to stick with a lighter color because dark colors will make the room look smaller than it really is. You will want to make sure that you have enough light to read in the room.
When it comes to decorating you will want to purchase at least two comfortable chairs. You will want to place tables on each side of the chairs so that you can lay your books down on the table. You will also want two table lamps for each of the tables so that you have a little bit more lighting. This will also add some decorate to your library and it also serves a purpose as well.
You will want to purchase some book shelves. If you don't have very many books you will want to purchase a smaller book shelf. You can purchase shelves and decorate them with candles and candle holders as well as fake plants. You want to give the room a little bit of color and you want the room to be somewhere that you can go to relax and take a break. You want the room to be decorated well so that you enjoy going into the library. You can also put some blankets in the library to cover up to relax.
You want to decorate this room and you want to make it somewhere that you can relax and read a few books. On areas that you are missing books you will want to place different objects to pull the room together. Do not place to much stuff in the room or it will look cluttered. If you don't like the flooring in the room you can purchase a large area rug to go over the floor that will match the color in the room.
