By decorating your office for Christmas, you'll feel happier and you'll make your fellow co-workers feel happier as well. There are some great ways you can decorate your office, even if there are boundaries you can't cross due to building regulations.
Here are some festive ideas to decorate your office this Christmas season:
Fake Snow - Fake snow can consist of just using some cotton, you can decorate the top of your cubicle or even your desk with some fake snow. You can find this type of faux snow at your local craft store, or any Walmart.
Garland - You can never go wrong with garland. You can either wrap it around the walls of the office; wrap it around your door, your cube or your desk. You can also add ornaments to the garland to give it a spice of color. If you really want to go all out, you can even have some of the fake snow to the garland. You can find garland in any craft store, hardware store (like Home Depot), Walmart or Target.
Lights - Most buildings are ok with allowing Christmas lights. Therefore, grab some lights and wrap them around the cubicles, or on top of the office doors. Adding lights to the office will be the real kicker when it comes to making everyone feel a little more cheery for the holidays.
Mini Christmas tree - You most likely can't go out and buy a large Christmas tree to put smack in the middle of the office, but you can buy a mini tree or even a plant. You can place this plant or tree in the common areas of the office, or even in your private office or cubical. You can decorate it with Christmas tree ornaments, lights, garland, and even the fake snow. You could even go as far as hosting your office's first annual Christmas plant contest.
Bulbs - You can buy as many Christmas bulbs as you want and really force the color of the holidays into the office. You of course need something to hang them on, so adding the garland around the office is probably a must, when it comes to adding these bulbs. You can make personalized bulbs for everyone in your office by painting their name on a bulb. Again, you can have a Christmas bulb contest, and have everyone decorate their own bulb, and then vote on the best or most creative in the end. You can get these bulbs at any craft store, Christmas store, Walmart, Target or Hardware store.
