How to Decorate a Plain Notebook

Personalise Your Notebooks, Journals and Diaries!

Sjda
Instead of wasting money on store-bought notebooks and journals for the fancy covers, try personalising one of your own - using bits of coloured paper, magazine cutouts, scrap cloth, dried flowers and other materials.

Basically, you'll need a plain notebook, cellophane tape, scraps of paper or your stick-on materials, paint, crayons, glitter or other colourful stuff, and transparent plastic wrap or laminating plastic film.

Once you've identified the materials to be used, decide on your design based on the way you'd like your notebook to look.

Wipe the surface of the notebook dry, and start sticking the materials onto the cover of it in the desired formation.

Add further decoration in the form of paint, glitter or other materials.

Allow to dry.

Once dried, cover the surface with the laminating plastic film or transparent plastic wrap.
