How to Decorate Your Tweens Room in Hannah Montana Decor

Rebecca Gore
Themed rooms seem to be a growing trend for young girls and boys in today's society, I have found that the biggest themed room in girls today seem to be Hannah Montana. There are several ways that you can theme your girls' room. First decide how themed you would like to go, such as do you want to wall paper or something a little simpler such as just using bedding and accessories. From there its really simple.

The Perfect Hannah Montana Walls

There are several things you can do to get the perfect walls for your Hannah Montana themed room.

1) Paint- If you choose to repaint your walls the best color to use is #243-5 Imperial Plum by Pittsburg paint.

2) Add wall art such as removable stickers and removable wall decorations. These are easily found on the internet as well as at some retail stores. Some great places to start would be:

a) Celebrate Express

b) The Collector Connection

c) Bed Bath & Beyond

d) Target Stores

The Perfect Ceiling

With the perfect walls you wouldn't want the ceiling to be anything less. Paint the ceiling with Pittsburg paints #244-4 Purple Dragon or you could go with the same color as the walls. Some great ways to match the ceiling to the walls are:

1) Hang foil musical streamers -

2) Hang old Cd's with clear fishing line from the ceiling

3) Buy or paint a ceiling fan purple and add jewels or stickers to make shimmer in the light.

Beds and Bedding

Beds and Bedding are a very important part of your young girls' room. Helping her get the best sleep is dependent on the bedding comforts supplied. The best ways to start is with

1) The Hannah Montana fabric headboard

a) Wal-Mart

b) All Aboard Toys

2) Buy your basic white headboard and go crazy with jeweled stickers or use your glue gun and add different jewels found in your local arts and crafts department or store.

Then add sheets and a comforter such as the ones found at:

1) The Disney Store

2) Wal-Mart

3) Target

Lighting

When deciding on lighting for your room there are several things you need to take into consideration such as will there be studying or reading in the room, will you place nightlights or have a bed side table with a light. Some of the best places to find Hannah Montana lighting is at your local Wal-Mart and Target stores or you could even use their online access.

The Finishing Touches

Then the fun begins, picking out and placing the finishing touches to your room is always great. There are a wide variety of things you can add such as clocks, director chairs and other furnishings, throws, pillows and rugs. Here is a listing of several web sites where you can find all these great accessories:

1) All aboard toys

2) Wal-Mart

3) Bed Bath & Beyond

4) Target

For a great together project you could find a mirror that would fit above the dresser or a full length mirror and buy several jeweled stickers or bags of different style of jewels from the local craft department or store and hot glue them to the mirror. It's good fun and a great project for quality together time.

Enjoy

Once you have placed the finishing touches you can then sit back and enjoy your young girls' response to the beautiful new addition in her life, the perfect Hannah Montana room.

  • Hang old CD's or buy foil streamers that are shaped like musical notes
  • Hannah Montana fabric headboards are always a great item for your girls bed set
  • Get a full length mirror and hot glue different types of jewels on it or add jewel style stickers
You can choose a high dollar way by buying all your Hannah Montana items, or tone down your spending by painting walls and adding jewel style stickers to lamp shades, head boards, ceiling fans and curtains.
