Plain fabric curtains, pillows, and tablecloths can be given new looks by decoupaging fabric patterns onto the original piece.

- Plain item to be embellished (Tablecloths, pillows, or napkins)
- Precut fabric
- Decoupage for fabric materials (Mod Podge makes one)
- Paintbrush
- scissors
- Decide on design to be decoupaged. Will you be adding flowers, leaves, circles. Now is the time to get creative with your ideas.
- Cover the backside of fabric to be decoupaged (the leaves, flowers, shapes, etc.) with a light coat of decoupage liquid. Allow twenty minutes to dry.
- If cutting the fabric to be decoupaged do this now. The original layer of paste will protect your fabric from fraying and allow a clean cut.
- Apply another coat of decoupage material to the back of the fabric to be decoupaged.
- Place the prepared fabric where desired on the plain fabric and smooth together.
- No additional coats of decoupage material are needed.
