How to Decoupage a Glass Dish
Purchase a clear glass plate from a thrift store and make it a work of art.
You will need:
You will need:
- Fabric
- Decoupage material for fabric (Mod Podge)
- Glass plate
- Razor
- Sand-paper
- Cut out fabric one inch larger in diameter then the glass plate to be worked with.
- Paint the decoupage material generously on the front of the fabric swatch.
- Lay glass plate face down and gently place fabric on the back of the plate.
- Smooth from the center going outwards to remove any bubbles.
- Allow to dry overnight.
- Flip plate over and trim away excess material with a razor blade.
- Smooth edges with a fine grain sandpaper.
