How to Defrag Your Hard Drive Professionally

Fragment in saving data to your hard drive is one of the reasons that make your system run slower. To resolve this problem, you have to run Windows 's Disk Defragmenter. However, this method is unprofessional. You have to run Disk Defragmenter manually. It also takes a lot of time to defrag with this feature.

If you are unhappy with your Disk Defragmenter, you should try IObit SmartDefrag. Auto Defrag: This is the default feature of IObit Smart Defrag. It will check your system and defrag when you are using your computer. If you want to change anything, click "Settings".

Scheduled Defrag: Allow you to set up a schedule. Mark the hard drive you want to defrag, pick "Enable Schedule" and click "OK". The default defragment will be at ten o' clock, on every Sunday.

Options: include General Setting, ManualDefrag Setting and Auto Defrag Setting.

General Setting: Minimize to system tray, Load automatically at Windows startup, Enable Smart Silent technology, Stop defrag while using batter.

Manual Defrag Setting: You can pick either Express Defrag (only defrag desired hard drive to boost system speed) or Comprehensive Defrag (defrag all hard drive, this option will take more time). Mark Automatically Turn Off to turn of your computer when all the work is done.

Auto Defrag Setting: Enable Automatic Defrag, Defrag frequent visited files, Defrag recent used files, Defrag system directories.

    An even better automatic defragmenter is Diskeeper Pro. It's automatic mode is highly adaptive and does a good job in defragging multiple drives without bogging down the system. No user intervention required- easy to use and great results.
