Cookies are small files of data that are stored on your computer, smart phone, or other device. They tell a website certain pieces of information about you, the user. Sometimes cookies can be intrusive or unwanted (such as tracking cookies) but other times they store information that helps a website deliver more personalized content (like cookies that store your preferences). You can delete all of the cookies off of your Motorola Droid by following the steps below.

If you're not already in your Droid's web browser, open it now. (You can get to it from your Home screen by clicking the globe icon.)
Step 2
While in the browser, press the Menu button. A list of options will appear at the bottom of the screen; select More. From the list that is displayed, select Settings.
Step 3
Scroll down the list of menu options until you come to the Privacy Settings section. Touch the option for Clear all cookie data. You'll be asked if you're sure; touch OK. Any cookies currently stored on your Droid will be deleted.
Note:
These instructions will also work for similar devices running Android version 2.2.2 or a comparable version of the Android operating system.
