How to Design Your Own Beads

I was sitting around sorting through my beads wishing I had something different, I look over at an open magazine and thought wow I wish I had a bead that looked like that page. Well now I do, Gallon size freezer bags full f them and others that I made from old , family circle , better homes, fashion and other magazines I had around the house, Everyone reads them so after you are done put them to use. I make jewelry so I love it. What you do is look through a magazine tear out the pages that catch your eye no matter what it is if you like it, create with it. Take your scissors and cut strips in what ever width you want them to be. Depending on the size beads you like will depend on the strips you cut. OK you have strips of colored magazines pages, get some tacky glue, or modge and put on one side of the strip lightly and role the strip around a pencil, Slide off Set aside, Keep doing this for as many as you need, Let your paper beads dry, they will dry hard because of the glue (AW SOME) like real beads you know? When they are dry you can lightly spray with a shellac. Look at what you just made no one like it any where because it was from your taste and you made it. Isn't that aw some now have fun with this and make, make, make.
One of a kind by YOU. Now make some jewelry I always use fishing line about 8lb works best.
