How to Detect Your College Professors Do Not like You

Todd Hicks
You are about to start going to a university. Hopefully, you want to start doing well and making a good impression on your teachers right away.

If you possess these goals, you have a lot going for yourself; however, there is something you must know. No matter how hard you try to be a good student, there is likely to be at least one instructor who does not think highly of you. You will learn how to tell your college professors do not like you.

They express a lack of confidence in you. No matter how much potential you have, they tell you that you are not going to make it in college. Give me a break! What teacher will tell you this despite how well you do or how hard you try unless he or she just does not like you?

They say you do not have what it takes for a solid career, even if you make good grades. Instead of encouraging you to pursue your dreams, they tell you to prepare for a job flipping hamburgers.

They are way too hard on you. They single you out if they can. For example, they grade the mistakes you make on your assignments more harshly than those of your class mates and they deal with you more harshly for minor things than they do your class mates.

They watch you like a hawk. They are just waiting for you to slip up and say or do something dumb.

They will not give you the benefit of the doubt despite having a general tendency to do it. If your overall grade is hovering between a Dee plus and a Cee minus, they will not give you the higher grade.

They are not willing to help you. Every time you ask them a question on your material, they just tell you to figure it out for yourself.

They belittle you in front of the class. Whenever you express your opinion or ask a question, they shoot your remarks down as being stupid.

They write mean comments on your essays. They attack your ideas as being dumb or worthless.

They do not shake the bad first impression they have of you being a dumb troublemaker. Even if you do well in their classes and always behave, they will not write a recommendation letter for you or tell you of any job openings that pertain to the subject you are majoring in.

You have learned how to tell your college professors do not like you.
