Whenever you're faced with a complexity, focus on the possible solution rather than on the problem. Think and discuss about the best solution to the problem or setback, rather than killing time rehashing and reflecting on the problem. Solutions are intrinsically positive, whereas problems are intrinsically negative. The instant that you start thinking in terms of the best solutions, you become a positive and constructive human being.
Suppose that something good is secreted within each problem or challenge. The bigger the reward you have coming, the bigger the difficulty you will receive. But the superb thing is that if you look for the reward, you will always find it. Suppose that whatever circumstances you are facing at the moment is precisely the right situation you need to eventually be successful. This circumstance has been sent to you to help you learn great ideas. To help you become improved, to help you get bigger and grow. One of the affirmations I have learned to use repeatedly is this; every condition is a positive condition if I view it as an opportunity for development and self- mastery that is a superb affirmation. You cannot say it without thinking positive ideas, feeling positive emotions, and considering positive actions that you can take.
In every problem, look for the valuable feedback or lesson. Suppose that every failure contains a lesson that is necessary for you to learn. Only when you learn this lesson will you be elegant enough and wise enough to go on to get the bigger goals that you have decide for yourself. Another way to keep your mind positive all the time is to create a list. Whenever you have a goal that is unachieved, a difficulty that is unresolved, or a trouble that is blocking you from getting where you would like to go, sit down with a pen and paper and jotted down every single thing that you could possibly do to resolve the situation.
