The shiny, sparkly look is hot right now and you would love to add it to your scrapbooks and cards, but have absolutely no idea how to do it! The product is called Diamond Glaze, but the problem is, it comes without directions on how to use it, so how is a newbie supposed to figure it out?

Trial and Error! But dig right in and try it out! There are so many different things you can do with it! Below I've listed several tips and tricks for using Diamond Glaze in your scrapbooks and in card making!

To add just a clear glaze, simply turn the bottle upside down and squeeze gently around the image your want to glaze. Be generous with the amount you use, as long as your paper is on a flat surface, the glaze won't run off.

Mix glaze with embossing powder or dry paints to make any color you want!

Add dimension to cut out letters.

Make eyes on paper pieced people and animals by placing two dots of glaze over two tiny white circles, then add a tiny piece of black paper to the center for the pupil.

Your flowers can pop right out of the page if you glaze them with just a hint of the same color glaze as the base flower.

Add dimension to paper pieced houses by placing clear glaze over the windows or add to windows in cards and trucks on a birthday invitation for a little boy or in a scrapbook layout.

Mix a little bit of ultra fine prisma glitter with the Diamond glaze and add it anywhere you want sparkles! This works great for an engagement ring in a scrapbook or for an engagement party invitation!

In a recipe scrapbook, add Diamond Glaze to kitchen bowls, appliances and utensils to give them a shiny look.

Add a drop of acrylic paint to the glaze and paint the tips of paper flowers to add dimension and shadowing.

Design a rainy day scrapbook layout and make raindrops on the background paper using Diamond Glaze.

Stamp Snowflakes on Christmas cards, then trace with the glaze and glitter mixture.

There are so many things you can do with Diamond Glaze, I'm sure a million are running though your mind right now, so what are you waiting for? Get out there and try it! You are going to love it!
