EAT FAT!! Believe it or not, healthy fats are absolutely essential to weight LOSS and proper diet. Fats give you energy to burn during workouts. If you don't have energy to burn, you can't work out and burn enough calories to lose any weight! Cool, huh? Just make sure they're healthy. Megan eats eggs and almonds. So no double bacon cheeseburgers. You can still have cheeseburgers, just make them homemade and not from McDonalds or Burger King. Capiche?
EAT OFTEN!! The second secret to losing weight is absolutely eating OFTEN! Your metabolism is like your sex drive...the more you use it, the more it wants to be used! So don't skip breakfast, don't eat just salads, and don't starve yourself and then gorge. That slows your metabolism down and makes you gain weight. (Your body goes into "survival mode" if you don't eat often -- it thinks it's not going to get anything else, so it holds onto everything instead of burning it!) The rule is 3 meals, 3 snacks. Try to make them fruits and raw veggies if possible. Whole Foods has a lock on really good tasting, natural foods and snacks. Give them a visit.
EAT LOTS!!! Megan eats to get full and so should you. Again, if you don't have any energy, your body will go into survival mode. The secret is to match calories in with calories out. So yes, watching calories is good when you eat and work out, but be scientific. Many people just starve themselves and think that's the way to get beautiful and skinny. It's not. The way to get that Megan Fox body is to pay attention to what you are doing and treat yourself like you are worth getting into shape.
