How to Display Holiday Cards in Your Home

Cool Ideas to Display Holiday Cards

ANNE RUSH
I love all the beautiful cards I get each year from friends and family. The artwork and design that goes into them is so wonderful, however it's sometimes difficult to find the space to display them all. Here are a few ideas for those of you that love them as well.

Create an Ornament for Your Christmas Tree

What to do: Cut one of the images from the card and using a hole puncher poke a hole at the top. Tie a piece of gift wrap ribbon through and curl the ends with a scissor. Hang from the tree. You can cut a geometric shape or trim around the contour of an angel , snowman, or star.

It's a nice way to keep your cards on display.

String your Cards along the wall

What to do: Secure taughtly along the upper edge of your one wall in your dining room or living room a piece of cord. As each card arrives drape it on the line to create a festive border in your home.

Create a Scrap Book

What to do: Purchase an Inexpensive but attractive scrap book at the craft store.

As each card arrives glue it onto a page. Add decorative stickers, ribbons, pieces of pretty giftwrap papers to make collages from all the cards you receive.

Scan and Save and Send

What to do: As each card arrives scan it into your computer. Using your photo editing program you can create a collage of all the images to make a very cool keepsake for the Holiday. You could even use this image next year to make your own Christmas cards!

How cool to use all the images you received from your friends this year to return the good wishes next year.

Have a wonderful Christmas.
