How Does the Duggar Family Handle Thier Busy Life?

18 Children Plus One...How Do They Really Get it All Done???

The Duggar family are one family that I actually enjoy knowing about. They are not only unconventional, and controversial, but they come across as saints with saint children while doing so. I think there are so much about this family other families can possibly learn from. And although the controversy that arises between them has much to do with the psychological stability of their own children, I want to share with you my personal thoughts on them and why families out there are not seeing the positivity of this family for what they are.

For one thing, although it seems that they just pop out offspring like bunnies, having many children beforehand doesn't mean they don't give in much consideration on how their lives would change. They already know that they have to live frugality, they already know that laundry itself is a daily chore and that homeschooling their children are mentally draining, but they step up to the challenge. Mr. and Mrs. Duggar work hard at maintaining their family and they do what many other families fail to realize they could do if they just prioritized and had at least a bit of a schedule.

They also delegate. They delegate responsibly like many other families do or should do. This shared responsibility teaches the children not only responsibility and work ethics, but also an appreciation for what their parents sacrifice and work hard to maintain.

Another very interesting thing about the family that should make many families want to probe deeper is how this huge family is able to stay debt-free; it is a feat many Americans could learn from. Also other than the seminars that are taught about their debt-free life, they also gain an income through their reality shows. Whether people like them or not, they want to see them and maybe even learn from them.

The question arises: If this huge family could handle all 18 +1 on the way, how come I feel like a tired failure with just my 2 (or 3 or 4) children?" The answer may be just to watch the family in action. Mrs. Duggar schedules everything for everyone. She delegates and makes sure she lives frugally. Her children look happy and content, with music lessons and an older mentor at their side.

Now that the oldest is expecting, the expanded family are ready to see where this next ship will sail.

You can't say they don't exhibit the experience and knowledge to see it through though. And now all of America will see to it too.
