There's really nothing spectacular about a Mystery Google search except playing a game to see what someone before you searched for something on the Internet. A Mystery Google search is all about randomness and keywords used by someone right before you.
If you're bored or just want to see what other terms people are trying to find then by all means visit Mystery Google.
Google the biggest Internet search engine has so many gadgets for use on the Internet such as maps, books, Adwords keyword tool, Gmail, phone service and the list goes on and on. Google has a hand in all kinds of technology related projects and Mystery Google search just offers something different from the norm by getting the results of someone else's keyword search.
Mystery Google uses a different website than the traditional Google search interface. It's designed with a black background giving the sense of a real mystery once you click on the Google search button. You might get search results for a keyword that you might be interested in and then again you may get the results of something you shouldn't be viewing.
You should use Google Mystery with caution because the results are from someone else that you don't know and the keyword they're searching for could be something disgusting or inappropriate. I wouldn't let me child use Mystery Google just because the results displayed are unknown beforehand.
Personally, I don't see the value in Mystery Google except if you're really bored to death. Maybe the thrill of getting a random search by someone you don't know. I think Mystery Google would be beneficial to people searching the Internet if they gave like the last 50 to 100 search by people. But only giving 1 keyword search based on the person before you using the search engine has no real value or interest.
Try Mystery Google yourself at least once to see what someone before you just searched for. Maybe you can get a benefit from the search, but if you're truly looking for something you should stick with the main Google search engine.

Post a CommentYou sure made it seem like Mystery Google is just some dumb thing designed for bored people, but even if it was created that way, it's turned into something more. It's a way of letting people send a message to anyone in the world. Just today, I got a search that said "Turn on your favorite album and have a dance party!" I did it...and it made me feel 10 times better. Maybe it's not as great as I see it, but I think it's pretty cool that people can actually turn around someone's day. I think this is one step closer to bringing humanity just a bit closer and reminding us all of the kid inside of us.
