- Step 1 BUY "BLACK DRESS" FOODS. Just like a woman with the black dress that goes with everything, there are cheap food staples that go with everything, too. Think tuna, for example. That can be a sandwich or two or three different types of salad. Peanut butter is another one. You can put it on bread or celery. Chicken is a great one - frozen bags at Vons of 10-12 pieces go for $4.00. Spaghetti is a great one. Combine that with the chicken for a great dollar meal. And don't let em get you on spices - honey can be used 180 different ways. One person can get 3 good squares per day on $10 a week. (Living proof!) Prove it to yourself! Go into the grocery store with a $10 bill and make a game of it.
- Step 2
ONLINE DEALS. My favorite website to check for coupons and deals is BudgetCents.net. Somebody's always running a promotion on something.
- Step 3
INVEST WELL. Quit the gym, and with that same $40, buy a pair of 20 pound dumbbells, leg weights, and a jump rope. You can still do every exercise and not have to pay every month to do it! Cut the cable off, and use half of that payment to get high speed internet. The shows are all online, anyway! (Movies too, if you know where to look!)
- Step 4
SQUEEZE FROM THE BOTTOM. Use everything you got. Get that last bit of soap out of the bottle by filling it with water and shaking. Roll that toothpaste tube up from the bottom. Don't lose stamps or change.

AC's licentious, guilty pleasure. What can I say? I write about sex and money. You know, the important stuff. Giggle. (But I do it so well!) Fashion, too. LOL View profile
