How to Download Christmas Family Newsletter Templates for Microsoft Word
To Create a Hassle Free Christmas Family Newsletter You Need to Download a Microsoft Word Template
The first downloadable Microsoft Word template is called Family Christmas news letter, it has a place to put one photo, plenty of text and the stationary effect is icy snow with white fluffy clouds and a cluster of evergreen trees.
The second downloadable Microsoft Word template is called Christmas newsletter (with Santa's sleigh and reindeer) it has very elegant fonts and a space for one picture and plenty of text.
The third downloadable Microsoft Word template is called Christmas family newsletter (2-pp.) this template resembles the first Microsoft Word template only with a snowman in the bottom right corner of the stationary.
The fourth downloadable Microsoft Word template is called Family Christmas newsletter. This template download has two photos and plenty of room for text. There is a picture of a reindeer and the colors are blue and white.
The fifth downloadable Microsoft Word template is called Family Christmas newsletter. This template is not as flashy as the previous templates but the layout is nice to work with if you have a lot to write in your newsletter.
Once you have decided which Microsoft Word template is best for you, its download time. The great thing about Microsoft is that they love to share. So downloading is a snap if you follow these directions.
Click on the name of the Microsoft Word template you desire to download.
Click on the Download tab and in the new window scroll down toward the bottom of the page and click the Download Now tab. This will cause a new small download window to appear on the screen. It will state Open with WinZip you need to click the OK tab. When the next window opens it will be a WinZip window.
You will see two files in that window. Click on the file that has the Microsoft Word Icon, you will know which one this is by the big blue W on the left. Highlight this by clicking on it once. Then at the top of the window you will see an icon that looks like a file and a template with an arrow that reads Extract.
Click on this and a new window will appear that is called Extract. There will be a list of your computer files. Choose the location you would like your computer to save the Microsoft Word Template download and click on the Extract tab.
The download is complete and you can now go to the location where you saved the Microsoft Word Template and open it up.
The Microsoft Word Template will open using Microsoft Word. As you review the template for the first time you will not see the text windows, but as you click on different parts of the document you will notice that you are able to change anything and everything about the document you desire.
To change a picture or insert clip art click on the Insert tab at the top of the screen, a dropdown window will open. Choose picture and pick the application you desire to extract your content with.
Continue to adjust and alter the template to your liking. When you are finished save the template using Save As and you can name it anything you like. Keep this template and alter it annually to inform your friends and family about the events that have taken place in your life for the past year.
