How to Download and Install Java Games on Your SciPhone 168

Dowanload Games on Your SciPhone

Brandy Madison
The marketability of the SciPhone i68 is due to its salient features and similarities to Apple's iPhone. Like the iPhone it has a flow touch firmware. Secondly, because Java has been included in it, it is easier to download and play a range of third party applications, software and games. It is this reason that makes the SciPhone i68 a boon for gamers. The best part about SciPhone i68 is that you need not get stuck with just games that are already loaded; you can download many others easily. We tell you how.

The Best Place For Cool Games

The most popular destination to go to for games for your SciPhone i68 is Java. Just Google or type in "get jar" into a search engine and you will be directed to sites which let you download Java games free of cost. The earliest copies of the iPhone didn't have this feature, but with the SciPhone i68, it is really easy. At the main page of the site, go to the "software" link and then at the bottom left side you will find a games icon. Clicking the icon will give you a list of games that are most popular in the download list but you can also browse by genre, if you know what kind of games you are looking for. You can choose from action, sports or adventure etc. thus making the search easier. Clicking on the games of your choice is all you need to do. Most games come with the jar file for the download, but some also ask for your device. In the latter case, just enter the CECT option, A100. This works for all models. In case this option is not available just enter a Nokia option, particularly the 2610 and it is sure to work.

Getting the Game To The Phone

There are two ways to get the game onto your phone - through your PC or the phone's browser. Using the WAP browser on your SciPhone i68 is better because Opera mini doesn't usually allow downloads. The games come with the exact code or link which can be typed in on the browser and you will probably only need to hit "download." Games can also be downloaded using a USB port. This makes sure that a copy of the game is saved on the computer too, in case it is accidentally deleted from the SciPhone i68. Just connect the computer with the SciPhone i68 and hit "mass storage" on your SciPhone i68. Then just hit "save as" the jar file or the game you want and you are good to go. You will have to find your device in the "save in" folder. Hit "save" once you have chosen the destination.

After saving the games, unplug the USB cable and enter the documents icon on your SciPhone i68. You will then have to go to the location that you saved the jar file into. When the list of games shows up, click on one of the games. It will give you options, the first of which is "install." Clicking this will install the game on your SciPhone i68 and you are almost there.

Now we are almost at the end of our game-playing journey. Click your Java icon and then go to "installed Java software." The games are listed at the bottom. Clicking the game and then hitting launch will work. This is how you will do it for every game or software that you have installed.
