I decided to browse the pieces of the Lauren Conrad fashion collection to see what kinds of clothes the former Laguna Beach star had designed.
Every one of her fashion pieces is named after one of her friends - so there's pieces inspired by Audrina and Whitney as well as 10 other close friends of Lauren Conrad.
The first thing I noticed was the colors. Lauren Conrad opted to keep the color palette simple yet pretty. Most of the pieces are available in black, white, teal, canary, greystone, natural and a pretty black & white pattern called a dolly print.
The second thing that jumped out at me was the prices. Be forewarned that the Lauren Conrad fashion collection was not designed for the economically-challenged consumer. There are only two pieces in the entire collection that are priced lower than $50 and that's either the Lauren Conrad leggings or the Lauren Conrad Jack Tube Top - priced at $48 and $42 respectively.
There are three really pretty tops in the Lauren Conrad collection. The Lauren Conrad Kiki Tank ($85), the Lauren Conrad Jackie Tube Top ($42) and the Lauren Conrad Maura Top ($85).
Lauren included two skirts in her collection. The Lauren Conrad Emily Skirt ($115) and the Lauren Conrad Maura Top ($85).
The other pieces in her fashion collection are all dresses. Lauren made sure to include a little something for everyone - so you'll find short, flirty dresses and longer more elegant dresses as well. Each Lauren Conrad dress has a definite "Hills" vibe to it.
Here's a quick run-down of the names and prices of the dresses available in the Lauren Conrad collection:
Lauren Conrad Sherry Dress $185
Lauren Conrad Lala Dress $110
Lauren Conrad Diane Dress $124
Lauren Conrad Dana Dress $115
Lauren Conrad Whitney Dress $170
Lauren Conrad Jillian Dress $145
Lauren Conrad Audrina Dress $150
Of course, no fashion collection would complete without some gorgeous accessories to go along with the fashion pieces. Lauren Conrad designed three purses that perfectly complement any of the fashion pieces in her collection.
The Lauren Conrad for Linea Pelle collection includes the LC Tote ($350), the LC Coin Purse ($45) and the LC Clutch ($145). Each purse is available in your choice of three colors - black, brown and olive.
With the debut of Lauren Conrad's new fashion & accessory line, it will now be a cinch for any girl to dress like Lauren Conrad - whether she lives in a small-town in the Midwest or in New York City.
