First off, you need to decide what type of flowers you actually want in your wedding. One simple and inexpensive route to go with is roses. You can order your roses very cheap online, having them delivered the day before the actual wedding. Then, perhaps you want to add some additions to the bouquet that you could not find online. This is when you can consider ordering dried flowers as the accents instead.
Browse through the various websites that sell dried flowers. My favorite is www.driedflowersdirect.com, and with them you can get some excellent prices on flower varieties like Baby's Breath and other small varieties of flowers. There are even more exotic varieties like lavender which you could also use to work with other wedding pieces like the favors or the maid's bouquets.
Go ahead and order your dried flowers as soon as possible. You can make sure to have them on hand and not be stressed about it days before the wedding! Just make sure to keep them in a box in a safe place so that they will not get dust on them or get crushed.
Once the time comes for you (or your helpers) to put together the actual wedding bouquet, just dot the dried flower stems wherever it looks appropriate in the bouquet. Use your eyes and just look at it. It's easier than you think to create a great bouquet! Just make sure not to over-do it with the dried accents. They are beautiful additions, but as with anything else beautiful you should never over-do it! You don't want to drown out the beauty of the surrounding flowers.
Certainly, there is much room for creativity with dried flowers in your wedding! Enjoy!
