Why was I looking for free stuff? Well it turns out I was in need of a new laptop one day. However, you know how expensive laptops can be, at least to me. So I went to Google and typed "free laptop". I came across the typical "Sign up for a credit card and you will receive a free IPOD, Laptop, etc". I'm sure most of us know how much of a scam those offers are, and to stay clear away from them. Within the first week of trying their techniques I received a new digital camera from Best Buy. A few weeks later I received a DVD player. All I paid was a simple $3.99 for the shipping. You may be wondering, so what? What do I need all this extra free stuff for? Well I thought the same thing, so I went onto EBAY and sold off all the items for a substantial amount of money. I am now waiting to receive a laptop from Hewlett Packard.

There are way too much free stuff offered in this world. It seems like almost anything can be obtained for free so much that people have written books about living life by getting a free ride from food to lodging. However, with all of the scams out there, it is good that some companies are actually on the up and up.
