We have all heard this slogan before about how you can earn while you sleep but there has yet to be anything that's even close to the truth. Often times you have to get a lot of referrals or process a lot of advertising in order to see any benefits from whatever the program may be selling. Gomez Peer is a java based program which tests websites while running in the background on your computer. It connects to the internet every 15 minutes to send and receive data streams. Each time it connects it updates your status.

When you first apply to run the program you are set as pending for about 5 days. After you download the exe and do the install it asks you for your username. Your username is the username you used when you signed up at the site. It will automatically pick up your computer name so you don't have to enter that information. You enter your zip code if in the USA and your network connection. It will also ask you the Performance Manger, this is the amount of work you wish your computer to do. If on dialup it suggests you use the "Min" amount. You can always change this later under the "Options" section.

Once the program is up and running, you don't need to see the actual display for it to run, as long as you see it on your toolbar (by the clock) then you know it is running.

In Gomez Peer under options you can set it so the program auto starts up, if you don't wish that to happen, simply un-tick the option and press save.

The program will display your status in the larger window which you can change the appearance of under "Options" and then "Minimized Window On/Off". To the left you will see your account balance. To the left you will see your user name, machine name, account status, current activity, next update, current rank (online time) and total online time (min). You will also see a navigation which contains the leader board, tell a friend, account info, community home, peer details and your monthly money amount.

You will not earn millions of dollars, as there is a $45 dollar limit each month, but if your computer is running all the time why not get add this little program to earn a bit more? After all you have nothing to lose but cash to gain.

You get paid for referrals, but that rate is meant to change, the program has been reading "Stay tuned for details on our NEW and IMPROVED compensation plan!!" for several months now.
