To advertise, you should always have your business cards with you. Printing interesting leaflets and distributing them in local stores is a good way to catch attention. Make sure you include all the information about your classes, schedule, your contact address, the fees, and so on.

You can also create a small website. Visit different knitting forums and spread the word about your new profession. You can put up a newsletter where anyone interested can sign up. Remember to clarify that these information are for beginners only, as they will be your potential customers. Online classes work too. You can send emails to your students regularly and if they need personal help, you can phone them or explain the methods in detail in an email.

Knitting is such a fun skill, and you will enjoy teaching this and earning money at the same time. All you have to do is think about it thoroughly and decide what would be the best way to take the classes.
