You'll need:
2 large cans sliced peaches in natural juice
1 yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter or margarine
1/2 - 1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
vanilla ice cream
9 x 13 cake pan
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Farenheit. Open one can of peaches and drain all the juice into the sink. Dump the peaches into the cake pan. Open the second can of peaches and dump its contents (juice included) into the pan. Now open the cake mix and sprinkle the entire bag evenly over your peaches, but do not stir. Next, cut the stick of butter into six to eight slices and distribute the slices over the peaches and cake mix. Finally, sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over everything. Butter, cinnamon and sugar can be increased or decreased to suit your taste.
Shove that sucker into the oven and let it bake for 25 minutes, or until the top layer is golden brown. Serve your peach cobbler warm and under a healthy scoop of vanilla ice cream. To make things pretty, sprinkle a little cinnamon over the ice cream.

Great recipe!Thanks.
Sounds yummy. I think I'll print this one. :)
Ok, I'm a sucker for a good desert. Thanks for this add to my "not supposed to consume too much of this kind of thing" list.
Really? Yay! Yeah, I can't believe I put 25 minutes! Too bad I can't edit after it's been published. :)
I just wanted to let you know that my granddaughter (9) made your peach cobbler and we all loved it!!!!!!!! It did take more like 45 than 25 minutes. lol
Sounds good! Thanks!
Looks pretty easy...thanks!
Okay, HUGE typo -- it takes something like 45 minutes to make. *sheepish grin* I think I was looking at the back of the cake mix box when I wrote that time down.
Thanks! I do not cook, bake, or anything that involves a stove. During holidays, my adult children put me in charge of the kids while they do the cooking. However, I think I may even be able to do this one and will surprise them for Labor Day!
