Mike White
You love pizza, and you love eating out. You either are on a diet, or even if you are not, you want to make more healthy choices in your menu selection. Can you do that and still enjoy pizza? The fact is when you got to your favorite pizza restaurant, whatever it is, it is easy to overeat, consume a lot of calories, and food with high fat content. The fact remains, there are things you can do to eat a lot healthier, even when eating pizza, if Pizza Hut is your favorite pizza restaurant.

If you want to eat healthy at Pizza Hut, look for the Fit-n-Delicious pizzas, which have 150 to 170 calories per slice, much less than a typical pizza. You will also save 20 to 50 calories per slice if you order a pizza with a Thin N' Crispy crust.

You can make healthier menu selections at Pizza Hut if you ask for only half the cheese on your pizza and avoid pizzas with a lot of meat. A single slice of meat lovers pizza can be 530 calories.

If you substitute items at Pizza Hut, you can save more calories and make even more healthy menu selections. You could get a Thin N' Crispy pizza with no sauce, light cheese, and lots of vegetables, and save a lot of calories. Try chicken on your pizza, if you want meat, instead of the more fattening pepperoni, ham, bacon, hamburger, or sausage.

You might want less pizza, if you eat a salad first.

If you like dips with your pizzas, avoid the high calorie ones at the restaurant. Take the pizza home and use low calorie alternatives.

You might not want a personal pan pizza. Even the Veggie Lovers is 560 calories for the whole pizza. The Meat Lovers is 890.

According to the website, sparkle.com, a slice of Fit N' Delicious Pizza from Pizza Hut has as little as 3.5 grams of fat per slice.

According to the website, fitnessmalaysiablog.blogspot.com, things one can do to eat more healthy foods when eating at pizza hut include drinking water instead of pop, saving as much as 300 calories, eating salad before eating pizza, eating only hot wings, if you are into a high protein diet, avoiding breadsticks and garlic bread, and avoiding soup--as soups at Pizza Hut are creamy and have a lot of calories. It is possible to make healthier menu selections when eating at Pizza Hut.
